Good functionality, Implemented through a iCal Feed, which means this is only one way sync.  Changes in google calendar do not sync back to Capsule, which does present a problem with mobile users. Since I still have not been able to get the mobile application working on android, mobile users will not be able to create tasks/meetings in the field.

  • + Does support setting time for tasks.Others solutions tested do not support this.
  • + Interesting feature, that a task is automatically created and synced to calendar when a new contact is imported through gmail. Nice idea. Again Capsule is paying attention to the little things that make an application above average.
  • - Integration through ical feed, user has to set this up themselves.
    • Becuase its ical, only one way sync.
  • + Does show information about linked "target" to the task. 
  • - Takes quite a while for changes in calendar to show up in google calendar, not sure if this is a function of Capsule or how Google calendar pulls ical feeds.

Ooo the beauty of Linux based proprietary thin clients... One of the best parts is that operating systems get updated, and SRSS doesn't. So re-installing/updating SRSS can be a bit of a moving target. So here are notes from my latest install.
